Buffalo Project Launches National Campaign Grading Prime Minister’s Performance

ReportonCarney.ca Issues Failing Grade for Carney’s 6 Month Performance in the West

Ottawa, Ontario – Today, Buffalo Project launched a national campaign, ReportonCarney.ca, aimed at holding Prime Minister Mark Carney accountable for failing to represent Albertan and Saskatchewan interests during his first six months in office.

The Buffalo Project graded Mark Carney’s performance on the specific requests made by the governments of Alberta and Saskatchewan, as well as the broader economic health of the country. The Prime Minister received a failing grade, citing the need for immediate action. The report card gives Carney failing grades due to inaction on critical files such as Bill C-69, emissions caps, the industrial carbon tax, and clean electricity regulations.

Six months in, Western Canadians are still waiting for real action from the Prime Minister. Mark Carney promised a different approach from Justin Trudeau, who spent a decade suppressing Western Canada, but we’re not seeing the urgent measures that we need to kickstart Canada’s economy.

The campaign has launched billboard placements in Ottawa, including Mark Carney’s very own constituency riding of Nepean, Calgary, Edmonton, and Saskatoon, strategically located to raise awareness and drive traffic to the website. A digital ad buy complements the outdoor campaign, encouraging Canadians to visit the site, read the report, and share the URL with friends and colleagues.

The Buffalo Project believes Saskatchewan’s and Alberta’s requests are critical to Canada’s economic survival. Western Canada has the resources to fuel the entire nation which could make Canadians less vulnerable to tariff and supply chain threats.

The Buffalo Project urges all Canadians to review the report card and ask whether this government is truly delivering for the entire country. The time for action is now, and Western Canada will not be ignored. To view the full report card, visit: www.reportoncarney.ca
