Right Now,
Canada Is Broken
‘Canada is broken,’ say majority of Canadians
National Post,

Canada is doing poorly when it comes to regional equality when compared with other federations.

Canada
is broken
Canada is NOT working for the west. “Reform” for Canada did not work. Seeking respect for our unique needs did not work.
Ottawa continues to hold back our potential and cause our society harm.
Canada is setup to forget the west and take care of the rest.

Fact
Over half a TRILLION dollars ($661 billion) has been transferred to Canada from Alberta from 1961 to 2007, Financial Post, January 29, 2019

Limiting Our Relationship with Ottawa
Alberta and Saskatchewan must also take action to free themselves from Ottawa’s chains within Canada now.
To go it alone in any useful way. Ottawa cannot be trusted to represent our unique interests.
We should gather as much leverage and control as possible.
These actions can include but are not limited to:
01
Collecting our own taxes
To create leverage and bring those jobs to Alberta and Saskatchewan.
02
Establish the Buffalo Pension Plan (BPP)
A joint Alberta/Saskatchewan plan to replace CPP
03
Independent Economic Agreements
Alberta and Saskatchewan can sign formalized trade agreements within Canada and with other nations to avoid Ottawa’s control.
Our Identity Is Under Attack
Alberta and Saskatchewan are unique within our nation.
We are traders, innovators and keepers of the land.
It is in our agrarian heritage.
Just like the Buffalo, we will walk into the storm and fight those wishing to kill our identity and heritage.
Action is required now. It is time to fight to protect who we are.
The activists say:
“Keep it in the ground.”
“Phase them out.”
“#ShutDownCanada”
Our Response:
We will NEVER stop feeding a hungry world.
We will NEVER stop providing the greenest energy on the planet.
We will NEVER stop innovating to producing technology and research the world needs.”
